Fernando is part of a group of bandits that are famous for their skill in theiving horses. He is the right-hand man for the band's leader, Alfonso. A lot of responsibility is put on Fernando's shoulders by Alfonso, and Fernando usually gets blamed when things go wrong. Nevertheless, for him it's worth everything just to get a little cash.
